Elizabeth H. “Betty” (Sault) Fox, 91, of Worcester, died Tuesday, October 16th, 2012 in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband James R. Fox died in 1984. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Vicki Sault of Centerville; her nephews and nieces, Fred Blokland of Palm Desert, CA, Richard and Linda Blokland of Goldsboro, NC, Jeanette and John Lamb of Oakville, Ontario, Canada, Karen and John O’Connor of Apopka, FL, Michelle and Barrett Grimm of Huntington, VT, Nicole Sault and Andrew Haines of Weymouth, MA, Billy and Sammie Marshall of Gulfport, MI, Jim Marshall of Longwood. FL and Nancy Marshall; several great nephews and great nieces; the Halsdorff family and special friend Gladys Bottomly. She was predeceased by her sister, Emily Marshall and Marion Blokland and her brother Louis John Sault; and her companion of 20 years, Benjamin Halsdorff died this year.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Louis Julius and Jenny E. (Getchell) Sault and had lived here most of her life. Mrs. Fox had worked as a studio photographer. Betty’s kind spirit made everyone she encountered feel special. She loved and enjoyed being with her family and friends most of all.
Her graveside service will be held on Monday, October 29th, at 11:30 a.m. in Hope Cemetery. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
