Mrs. Fannie (Perry) Oliveira Wilford, of Taunton, died Wednesday, October 17 in the New England Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, Stoughton following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Richard A.J. Wilford. She was born 87 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late John and Fannie P. (Silva) Perry. She was educated in Taunton and was a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as an assembler for the Ad-A-Day Company in Taunton for over 20 years. Fannie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially Jake and Angel. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves: 2 stepdaughters: Sharon Maycock and her husband, Paul of Woonsocket, R.I., and Bernadette Hilton of Taunton; 2 brothers: Leo Perry of Taunton and Herbert Perry and his wife, Kay of Taunton; 1 sister: Shirley Giroux of Norton; 1 sister-in-law: Claire Perry of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Edmund Perry of Taunton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Jude the Apostle Church, 249 Whittenton Street, on Friday, October 26 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
