Cheryl E. (Borghi) Anderson, of Wellesley, a beloved sister, mother, daughter and friend, died of natural causes on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the age of 56.
Cheryl loved life and loved her family. She especially loved her only child, Grant Adam, (also son of David D Anderson). She was a gifted singer and derived great pleasure in coaching her sons little league teams in years passed. She was a lifelong resident of Wellesley and so enjoyed visiting her cousins, aunts and uncles in town. She was known for her love of helping others, and once successfully held a grand fundraiser for an Italian boy, Angelo in need of a new kidney. Cheryl raised more than enough money for Angelo in one day and saw to it that Angelo had the best medical care, which he did. She enjoyed caring for her friends children when her friends were out of town.
She leaves behind her beloved mother Eileen L. Palladini Borghi; siblings Leonard Borghi (Framingham), Shirley Borghi Safstrom and husband David Safstrom (Roswell, Georgia), Sheila Borghi Nash and husband Alan Nash (McLean, Virginia) and Cheryl’s niece and nephew, Spencer and Ava Nash, along with her loving aunts, uncles and cousins of her maternal and paternal sides of the family. She was very much loved, touched many lives and will be missed by many.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Cheryl’s Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central St. (Rt. 135) Natick. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick.
