Obituary

FRANKLIN—Dorothy I. (MacKenzie) Wagner 77, a longtime Franklin resident, died Tuesday Oct. 16, 2012 at the Overlook Nursing Home in Pascoag, following a long period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Richard M. Wagner, Jr. who died in 1975.
Born in Boston, March 4, 1935 a daughter of the late James and Laura E. (Gault) MacKenzie, she was raised and educated in Gloucester, MA. She retired from the former Zayre Corporation in Framingham, where she worked in the accounts payable department. She also worked for a time at the CVS store in Franklin.
She loved music, especially Elvis Presley, needlepoint, and reading.
She is survived by 3 daughters; Bonnie L. Wagner of Framingham, Karen A. Guerra of Harrisville, RI, Laura C. Hamelin of Uxbridge, a sister Elizabeth Goguen of Plainville, 5 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren.
She is also the sister of the late Robert, Kenneth, James, and Charles MacKenzie, Anne MacKenzie, and Mima MacPhail and is the grandmother or the late Tina M. Guerra.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Saturday Oct. 20th at 11AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com.
Interment will follow in Union Street Cemetery, Franklin.
Calling hours are Friday Oct. 19th from 2-5PM.
