Mr. Hampton N. Alexander, a resident of Lowell, formerly of Medford, died at his home on October 15, 2012, following a long illness. He was 70 years old.
Born in Medford on March 11, 1942, he was the beloved son of the late Hampton N. and Coral (Yancey) Alexander. Hampton was a Systems Analyst for computers for many years. Hamp enjoyed listening to music and loved watching his large collection of movie videos.
We were all shocked and grieve the loss of this fine gentleman. Hamp endured many medical challenges over the years and showed great courage in facing all of these challenges. Hamp will be missed by all who knew him.
He was the loving brother of Marchelle L. and her husband James M. Raynor of Roxbury. Devoted uncle of Jasmine T. Raynor and Toure K. Raynor, both of Boston and Edward A. Tyrance of Medford. He was also the great uncle of Maia Raynor-French of Boston.
His funeral services will be held at a later date.
