MIDDLEBORO - Mark E. English, 43, of Middleboro died Friday in EastBridgewater after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Peggy (Hayden) English.
Born in Brockton, he was a son of Robert E. and Marilyn M. (Joly) English of East Bridgewater.
He grew up in East Bridgewater and graduated from East Bridgewater High School and from Armstrong Cork School of Flooring Design in Lancaster, Pa.
Mr. English was the owner of English Tile Gallery. He had also just obtained his builder's licenses.
Mr. English enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Ashley Paige English and Melanie Crystal English, both of Middleboro; three brothers, John English and Kevin English, both of Florida and Jamie English of East Bridgewater; two sisters,Marlene Goodenough of El Paso, Texas, and Sharon English of Nashua, N.H., and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was brother tothe late Gail and Paul English.
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
Visiting hours will be Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. in funeral home.
