Florence L. (Lachance) Piessens, 95, died October 8, 2012 at the Mary Immaculate Health Care Services in Lawrence.
Born in Lawrence, October 14, 1916 Florence resided there her entire life. Mrs. Piessens was the daughter of Joseph and Valeda (Brochu) Lachance. Mrs. Piessens had been employed as an Assembler with the former Western Electric of North Andover and South Lawrence for many years prior to her retirement.
Having been employed with Western Electric she was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include her son Allan N. Piessens of Dover, NH, 3 grandchildren, 6 greatgrandchildren (names) and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will take place on Friday at 11:00 o’clock from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen with burial to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery of North Andover.
Friends will be warmly received on Friday from 9:00 AM - to 11: AM at the funeral home.
