POWELL, Agnes Mae (Carroll), 91, passed away October 11, 2012 at Friendship Manor. She was known as “Agnes from Lytle Street” and was very proud to be from the Portland area.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John S. Powell, Sr.
Survivors include her sons, John S. Powell, Jr. and William J. Powell (Glenna); brother, Chester Carroll; eight grandchildren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1pm Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 until the service at 1 Saturday at the funeral home.
