Franklin—Ann Marie F. Oppedisano de Hernandez 47, of Franklin, died peacefully, Wednesday October 10, 2012 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, surrounded by her family following a brave and courageous battle against cancer. She was the beloved wife of Ivan Hernandez.
Born January 8, 1965 in Mount Holly, New Jersey a daughter of Charlotte L. (Zima) Oppedisano of New Lisbon, New Jersey and the late Anthony V. Oppedisano, Sr., she was a resident of South Boston before moving to Franklin many years ago.
She was raised and educated in Mount Laurel, New Jersey and then attended Boston University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Language and Literature in 1987. Upon moving to Franklin, she became a devoted wife, and mother.
She enjoyed gardening, dancing, traveling and being with all of her family and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children; Evan A. Hernandez, Alessandra O. Hernandez, and Leah R. Hernandez all of Franklin, a brother Anthony V. Oppedisano of Egg Harbor, Township, New Jersey, a sister Paula Lynn Oppedisano of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and many nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday October 16th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Interment will follow at Union Street Cemetery, Franklin.
