Obituary

Mr. Frank A. “Bunny” Ruggieri, a longtime resident of Medford and beloved husband of Mary F. (Paiva) Ruggieri, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on Sunday, October 7, 2012. He was 75 years old.
Born in Somerville, on January 13, 1937, he was the beloved son os the late Frank A. and Gertrude (Marshall) Ruggieri. Bunny was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Medford and also a member of the Elks in Brighten. In his spare timeFrank enjoyed bowling and visiting Suffolk Downs. He also loved playing cards with his loving grandchildren and was an avid golfer. Above all, Frank was a very loving man and devoted to his beloved wife, Mary and their family.
Besides his wife, Mary, Frank will be very sorely missed by his two children; Debra A. and her husband William E. Gerhold of Hooksett, New Hampshire and Frank A. Ruggieri, III, of Medford, brother; Virginia Pizzelli of Franklin, Joan Ruggieri of Cambridge and Kevin Greene of Manchester, New Hampshire, grandchildren; Adam and Amanda Gerhold and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Daniel Ruggieri.
His funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Friday, October 12, 2012, at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Many relatives and friends are respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held on Thursday, October 11, 2012, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was private.
