Raymond F. Lachance 80, of Franklin, died peacefully, Monday October 8, 2012 at Milford Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family following an illness. He was the beloved husband of Anita G. (Danello) Lachance.
Born April 14, 1932 in Pawtucket, RI a son of the late Joseph S. Lachance, Sr. and Catherine (Greene) Lachance, he was a longtime resident of Franklin and was a former resident of Central Falls, RI.
He was raised and educated in Central Falls, RI and until his retirement, he worked for the former Madison Industries as an inspector.
An avid sports fan, he followed all the New England sports teams, especially the Boston Celtics, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Along with his wife they have spent many winters in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where they have many friends who they consider family.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by a daughter Bonnie H. Isham and her companion Robert Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada, a grandson Kenneth G. Ladd III and his former wife Jessica, 3 great granddaughters Tishona R., Kryslyn S. & Elysha H. Ladd all of Arizona. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
He is the brother of the late Joseph S. Lachance, Jr. Marguerita Fanion, and Catherine DeSalvo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Saturday Oct. 13th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
His interment will be held privately.
