Dr. Polepalli S. Setty, MD 72 of Connellsville passed away Monday October 8, 2012 at the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. Dr. Setty was born October 2, 1940 in Raydurg, India the son of the late Ishwara and Sharadha Setty. He was a member of the Sri Venkateswara Temple, Monroeville. where he held various leadership positions and was a devotee of the temple and current board member. Dr. Setty was a physician with Excela Health Medical with offices in Mount Pleasant and Connellsville. A member of the American Medical Association, Dr. Setty, received commendations for his 50 years of service as a physician from the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Senate of Pennsylvania. Surviving are his wife Ramasubbamma Setty; a son Kumar Setty and wife Padmaja; daughters Prathima Setty Virmani and husband Pranav and Uma Setty Dasa and husband Srikanth; also 4 grandchildren, three brothers and one sister.
