Joseph J. "Junie" Presner, 75, of Dartmouth died October 8, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Joseph J. and Anna (Dymska) Presner, he lived in Dartmouth all of his life.
He was an active communicant of St. George's Church in Westport.
Mr. Presner was formerly employed by Alden Corrugated for many years before retiring from Vanity Fair.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his earlier years. Mr. Presner took loving care of his aunt, Adela Szarek, until her death and was a dedicated father.
Survivors include his daughter, Debra Wojcik and her husband Ed of Fairhaven; his former wife, Beverly A. (Field) Galipeau of Fairhaven; his granddaughter, Alyson Therrien of Boston; and several cousins.
He was the brother of the late Eugene Presner and Edward Presner.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Friday, October 12th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. George's Church, Westport at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, October 11th from 4-7 PM.
