Marilyn A. (Nicoll) Lavery, 76, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, Massachusetts on Friday October 5th, 2012.
She was the widow of the late Henry J. Lavery, Jr., who passed away on February 16th, 2010. Marilyn is survived by her three children: Jennifer and her husband Michael Wagner of Pelham, NH, Jon and his wife Angela Lavery of Atkinson, NH and Jeff Lavery of Salem, NH. She also has three grandchildren; Dylan and Jordan Lavery and Kaelem Wagner. She was predeceased by her brother John Nicoll.
Marilyn worked at the Internal Revenue Service as a young woman and retired to raise her three children. After her children where grown she was a caregiver for her father and then worked as an in home caregiver for the elderly. As her grandchildren were born she devoted her care giving to them and was an important part of their daily lives. She found her greatest joy spending time playing with and watching her grandchildren grow. She loved her cats and made contributions to animal rescue.
