Kelly, William D. Sr., of Marshfield, formerly of Pembroke, October 8, 2012 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Papp) Kelly. Loving father of Leah Kelly and her husband Jim Frederick of Ontario, Canada, Erin Murphy and her husband Joseph of Pembroke, Scott Kelly of Pembroke and William D. Kelly Jr. and his wife Kendra of Halifax. Loving grandfather of Christopher and Kendra Glass, Montana, Shauna, Liam, Lilah and the late Christian Murphy and Ryan and Griffin Kelly. Dear brother of Patricia Stappen of Plymouth, Frederick Kelly of Holbrook, Donna Kelly of Ft. Meyers Beach, FL, Richard Kelly of Rockland and Kevin “Ronnie” Kelly of Marshfield. Son of the late William T. and Mary Alice (Bates) Kelly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. William was born and raised in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, later moving to Dorchester where he graduated from Dorchester High School. William came to Marshfield in 1972 and moved to Pembroke in 1981. He was a member of the Hilltop in Kingston. William worked as a Carpenter Steward in the Local Union 33.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte 139, Marshfield on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday, October 11 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass is St. Thecla Parish, 145 Washington St, Pembroke, MA at 11:00 a.m.
