Mrs. Scott graduated from Statesboro High School in 1979. She lived in the Augusta area for the past eight years
Family members include her daughter Miranda Brooke Lapsley of Augusta; mother: Vangie Conner Weeks of Augusta; brothers: Charles Nessmith and Artie Weeks both of Augusta; and friend Wayne Rogers.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Providence Baptist Church with Dr. Donald Prosser officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
