Helen White, 72, of Fitzgerald, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 4 P.M., Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald with the Rev. Elkin Harnage officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. White was born May 20, 1940 in Chula to the late T.R. “Doe” and Ella Musselwhite Rineair. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a former employee of Levi Egg Farm in Moultrie and Dixieland Nursery in Fitzgerald. She enjoyed working in her yard and visiting yard sales. She also enjoyed caring for her dogs: Bubba & Rascal.
She is survived by her son: Charles “Ted” White of Rockland, Maine; daughter and son-in-law: Judy & Tony Dykes of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Amanda (James) Garnto, Heather White, Jessica White, Jeremy White, Amy (David) Tucker, Kevin Dykes, and Mariah Dykes; two great-grandchildren: Abby Garnto & Seth White; one sister: Ruby Peacock of Moultrie; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Willis White and a sister: Carolyn Jeanette Blizzard.
