Howard T. ‘Howie’ Oliver, 67, of 16 Northside Rd., passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 in his home.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Patricia J. ‘Pat’ (Fellowes) Oliver, a daughter, Denise A. wife of Thomas Brodeur of Charlton, two sons; Thomas H. Oliver and his wife Laurie of Dudley and Mark C. Oliver and his wife ‘Tinker’ of Charlton,a brother; Joseph W. Oliver of Virginia and 6 grandchildren, and his beloved boxer ‘Sunny’.
Howie was born in Worcester a son of Howard T. and Helen O. (Guyer) Oliver, Sr. and lived in Charlton all his life.
He was a truck driver for many years, starting with the former family business Oliver Bros.Trucking , Carlton Woolen Mills and for Nu-Way Trucking.
Howie was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and enjoyed camping, the outdoors, yard work and going to the casino. Most of all he loved being with his family.
Calling Hours for Howie will be Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 5 to 8PM at the Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd.
The Funeral will be Wednesday, October 10, 2012 with a Mass at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H-Putnam Rd.,Ext.
Burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery.
