TAUNTON – Helen Gertrude (Lawry) White, wife of the late Manuel White and the late William Jack, died at Longmeadow of Taunton on Oct. 3, 2012.
She was 92.
Born in Norton, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Anna (Suprenant) Lawry.
Raised and educated in Somerset, she was employed by the Taunton Visiting Nurses, retiring in 1980.
Mrs. White enjoyed baking, cooking and Word Search puzzles.
Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Cartin and her husband Thomas of Dighton; three sons, George Jack of Myrtle Beach, SC, Raymond D. Jack of Dighton, and Barry White and his wife Barbara of New Mexico; a sister, Mabel Dube of Portsmouth, RI; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late William Jack, and the sister of the late Herbert Lawry, Franklin Lawry, Jessie Rose, Elsie Craw, Dorothy Suprenant, Thelma Wilbur, Florence Bickham, Marion Lamb and Hazel Almeida.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at the Unitarian Cemetery, Dighton.
