Joao Paul Gaipo, 34, of Hudson, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 2nd in Hudson. He leaves his loving parents Ildeberto and Maria (Camara) Gaipo of Hudson.
Joao Paul was born in the Azores,Portugal and has been a long time resident of Hudson. He has worked as a mason for many years and most recently he was employed by D & M Construction of Fall River. He was an avid Bruins fan and enjoyed deep sea fishing. He was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Maura Rijos and her husband Juan of Fitchburg and his brother, Nelson Gaipo of Hudson. He is also survived by his two nieces, Gianna and Eleina Rijos; his nephew Xavier Rijos; his nephew and Godson, Jamar Rijos and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends..
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 6th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Oct. 5th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
