Hilaire, Magda 58, of Lhomond, Haiti died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at her home in Roslindale surrounded by her children and her mother. Magda was a devoted daughter to Octavius and Marie Cleonie Morency and beloved wife of the late Musset Hilaire. She was the adored mother to Dany, Jude and Mushri Hilaire. In addition to her mother and children, Magda also leaves behind her sisters, her brothers, and countless extended family members and friends. As this is a significant loss for her children, family and friends, we can only find solace in the legacy of love and courage she left with us.
The Viewing will be held at P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132 on Friday October 5, 2012 from 5pm-9pm. Funeral Mass held at St. Matthew Parish, 33 Stanton St. Dorchester, MA 02124 on Saturday October 6, 2012 at 11:30am. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park, MA 02136. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Magda may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Liver Cancer Fund at 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
