Obituary

Addison L. Jennings, of Plymouth formerly of Norton, died on September 30th at Jordan Hospital at the age of 94. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years Bojan (Hamlin) of Plymouth and his children Hamlin M. Jennings and his wife Glenys of Cambridge, Nora Lyn Wohlfeld and her husband Michael of Encinitas, CA and Constance T. Jennings-Lane and her husband William of Concord. He also leaves his 4 cherished grandchildren Ashley, Katherine, Grace and Selena.

Addison was born in Port Jefferson, NY and lived in Mount Kisco, NY where he graduated from Mount Kisco High School. After high school, Addison graduated from Harvard University in 1940 and Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1942. He also served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Addison was a Certified Public Accountant in Taunton for many years and enjoyed music, playing the piano, chess, painting, sailing, astronomy and especially spending time with his family.

There are no visiting hours and burial will be private. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 20th at 11 AM in the May Room in Mary Lyon Hall at Wheaton College, Norton, MA. Arrangements made by the Richard Davis Funeral Homes of Plymouth and Manomet. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Jennings/Marshall Scholarship Fund for Science Majors, Wheaton College, Norton, MA , 02766.
