Longtime North St. Paul Resident & VFW Poppy Chairman Died on September 28, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Preceded in death by beloved wife of 60 years Shirley; parents and brothers and sisters. Survived by children Jim (Kathi), Laurie (Dave), Barb Strachota (Glen), Vicki Matheys, Sara Nelson and Heather Bacigalupo (Todd); 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Sandy Warner; brother-in-law Al Mazion (Rose) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Proud member of the Honor Guard for VFW Post #1350, Mason, foster parent for over 30 years and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Service Wednesday 12:00 Noon at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul with visitation one hour before the service. Memorials preferred.
