Mr. Jesse L. Goodman, age 87, of Douglas, GA passed away at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Goodman was the son of late Jesse Lee Goodman and Ola Jackson Goodman.
Mr. Goodman is survived by his wife: Becky Adams Goodman, Douglas, GA. Daughter: Marsha G. Lewis (Tom) Earnest of Greensboro, GA and Douglas, GA. Three Sons: Ronald Lee (Jonnie) Goodman, Ocilla, GA; Robert Wayne (Tammy) Goodman, Douglas, GA and Jesse Dale Goodman, Thomasville, GA. Two Sisters: Polly Kidd, Elmodel, GA. and Betty (Lindsay) Mock, Columbus, GA.; Nine Grandchildren and thirteen Great Grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Goodman will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Mr. Goodman will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Douglas, GA. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery, Douglas, GA.
Mr. Goodman was preceded in death by his former wife, Mary Patrick "PAT" Dill Goodman; a brother: Clarence Goodman; a sister: Leola Dunlap and "Baby Sister" Goodman who died shortly after birth.
