Mrs. Geraldine Lott, age 78, Douglas, GA passed away on September 29, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on September 1, 1934 to the late Curtis Colon and Myrtice Harper Kirkland. Ms. Lott was preceeded in death by : husband Elton "Skinny" Lott; son: Larry Wayne Lott; great granddaughter: Courtney Spivey; sister: Shirley Kirkland and brother: Bobby "Cotton" Kirkland.
Survivors include: daughter: Debi Braddy, Axson, GA; sons: Gary (Sheila) Lott, Pridgen, GA and Ronnie Lott, Douglas, GA; 3 grandchildren;Mickey (Kim) Braddy; Lynn (Niki) Spivey; Greg Lott all of Douglas, Ga. 6 great grandchildren; Corey Martin, Austin Martin, Drew Martin, Raven Spivey, Rachael Howell and Katelyn Tucker. brothers: Dexter (Susie)Kirkland, Leon "Man" (Janie) Kirkland, David (Marlene) Kirkland all of Douglas, GA; sisters: Bonnie Stone, Douglas, GA; Betty "Sweeton" Wilkins, Nicholls, GA; Linda Kirkland, Douglas, GA; Patsy (Larry) Spivey, Nicholls, GA;special family friend: Sherry Horton and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 30,2012 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home, Inc. Douglas, Ga.
Funeral services will be held on MOnday, October 1, 2012 at Trinity Non Denominational Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Johnny Smith, Rev. Clifford Kirkland and Rev. Hilton Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery.
