Rita E. Lemire 94, formerly of 400 Mendon Rd. died Thursday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Harold R. Lemire. Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Louise (Paradise) Dorval. Mrs. Lemire worked for the former Uniroyle Co. as an assembler for twenty eight years, and was a CNA at the Wrentham State School for twelve years before retiring thirty years ago.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters Doris Ferron and Claire Jolin. She will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews including her caregivers, Rose Marie Hogan, Sr. Janice Jolin SMIC, Donald Jolin and Dennis Jolin along with several great nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday with Visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11: 00 AM in St Antoine Residence Chapel, Rhodes Ave, North Smithfield.
