Mary (Douglas) Nicholopoulos, 84, of Hillside Ave. passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 in Webster Manor.
She leaves her husband of 64 years, John Nicholopoulos, their sons; Peter and his wife Nadine of Georgia, Nick and his wife Linda of Dudley, John and his wife Linda of Fitchburg, and David and his wife Kathy of Webster; 6 grandchildren, Kelly Yap and her husband Kevin of Sturbridge, Dawn Nicholopoulos of Dudley, Brandon Nicholopoulos and his wife Courtney of Hubbardston, Kayla Nicholopoulos of Palmer, Aija of Worcester and Trent of Webster; 4 great grandchildren, Alexis and Aiden Yap of Sturbridge, and Gavin, and Athena Nicholopoulos of Hubbardston.
Mary was born in Fitchburg, and lived in Webster for many years. She owned and operated her own beauty salon for over 30 years. She was a member and very active at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church and was a member and past secretary of the Philoptochos Society. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary’s Funeral will be Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St. followed by a Service at 10 AM in Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 35 Lake Parkway. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be Monday, October 1, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM in the Funeral Home. There will be a Trisagion Service at 7 PM on Monday.
