Elizabeth Hutto, 77, of Mystic, Georgia died Friday, September 28, 2012, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, October 1, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Larry Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Lax Community Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Hutto was born January 19, 1935 in Telfair County to the late Silas, Sr. and Eva Mae Grimes Branch. A graduate of Telfair High School, she attended Ben Hill Irwin Technical School where she received her cosmetology training. She worked as a seamstress for Irwin manufacturing and was a former employee of Modern Fibers and Shaw Manufacturing. A member of Morningside Baptist Church in Ashburn, GA, she was a loving mother and a hard worker.
Survivors include her children: Robby & Jane Hutto of Ambrose, GA, Rocky & Jan Hutto of Mystic, GA, Tom & Rita Hutto of Hazlehurst, GA, Cathy & Vance Ross of Irwin County, and Tilda & Ronnie Butts of Mystic, GA; step son, Gary & Ann Kearse of Enigma, GA; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lucille Branch of Mystic. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Vernon Hutto, special friend, Earnest Kearse, a daughter, 3 grandchildren, I great grandchild, and 2 brothers.
