Teeter, Wanda Faye (Griffin), 72, passed away September 27, 2012 at Norton’s Hospital. She was a member of St. John’s Pentecostal Church and retired from JCPS as a school bus driver and painter. Wanda was an active minister at her church and was a hard working and devoted mother, who trained her children up in the way of the Lord.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Teeter; son, Larry Dean Teeter; grandson, Nathan Daniel Baker; brothers, Russell Melton, Jr., Donald, and Irvin Griffin; and sister, Marilyn Ruth Teeter.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Sandra Lee Teeter Baker (Donald); grandchildren, Jeremy Teeter, Matthew Teeter, Rachel Baker Ledford (Brian), Justin Teeter, and Cory Teeter (Tammy); great grandchildren, Emily Teeter, Darren Ledford, Libby Teeter, Easton Teeter, Karson Teeter, Landon Ledford and the seventh one on the way ; brother –in-law, Rick Teeter (Patricia); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1pm Monday at St. Johns Pentecostal Church, 4198 St. Johns Road- Georgetown, Indiana with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 11-8 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and Monday 12 until the service at 1 at the church.
