Lionel S. Odum
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, September 27, 2012, Mr. Lionel Samuel Odum, 84, husband of 62 years to Mrs. Margie Odum.
Mr. Odum was born in Bartow, FLA and resided in Augusta. He was a Real Estate insurance salesman. Mr. Odum served in the U.S. Army. He was a very active member of First Advent Christian Church. Mr. Odum was very active in AL-ANON.
Family members in addition to his wife include: sons: Kenneth Odum (Becky) of Chatsworth, GA; Edward Odum (Marilee) of Augusta; Ralph Odum (Kathy) of Augusta; John Odum of Augusta; daughter: Patricia Wiley (Bill) of Lincolnton,GA;
nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Michael Medlock and Rev. Matthew Odum officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
