SALEM- Jessie C. (Leszczynska) Moore, 89, wife of the late Raymond A. Moore, of Salem, died Wednesday morning, June 2, 2004, at the Pilgrim Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Peabody, following a long illness.
Born in Salem on April 15, 1915, she was the daughter of the laet Stephen and Mary (Kempinska) Leszczynski.
A lifelong resident of Salem, she was a parishioner of the St. John The Baptist Church and a former member of the St. Ann Society.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by GTE Sylvania at the Loring Avenue, Salem plant. She previously worked at the former Hytron in Salem.
Mrs Moore is survived by one daughter, Barbara Myers of Hastings, Michigan, four grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Roub and Vincent Roub, both of Salem, Andrew Roub of Loganville, Georgia, Deanna VanDenBroeck of Yuma, Arizona, five great grandchildren, one sister, Anna C. “Anne” Leszczynska of Salem and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jessie A. Banks and sister of the late Sophie Ouellette and Lucien Leszczynski.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday morning, June 5, 2004, at 9 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a graveside service at 10 am at Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
