Debra Jean Hursey, age 49, of Columbia, KY passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012, at her residence following a brief illness. Ms. Hursey was born on February 27, 1963, in Alma, GA to Gene Allen Porter and Jeannette Botelho.
Survivors include: her parents, Jeannette Botelho, of Waycross, GA and Gene Porter, of Douglas, GA, daughter, Dalisa Hursey Perez, of Columbia, KY, son James Hursey, of Brunswick, GA, four sisters, Mary (Rick) Fogle, of Waycross, GA, Gena Porter, of Douglas, GA, Chrystal Tyson, of Warwick, RI, and Joyce Prior, of Warwick, RI, four brothers, Danny Porter, of Douglas, GA, Darrell Porter, of Nicholls, GA, Nickey Porter and Jeremy Porter, both of Douglas, GA. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She is preceded in death by a nephew, Dakota “Speedy” Porter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Harvest Time Church of God with Rev. Toby Gale and Rev. Bobby Pope officiating.
