William M. Howard, age 27, of Medford passed away unexpectedly on September 22nd. Born in Boston he was the son of Paula Howard of Winthrop and William M. Doyle and his wife Michelle of Newmarket, NH.
Billy as he was affectionately known to his family and friends was a 2003 graduate of Revere High School. He worked with his family at Jim's Market in North Medford for a number of years. Billy was a member of Mike's Gym in Medford and was also passionate about boxing and was a member of the Somerville Boxing Club participating in many amateur boxing events. Billy had a wonderful sense of humor and loved joking around with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music and playing the guitar.
Billy is also survived by his siblings, Danielle Howard of Winthrop, Montana and Joseph Doyle of New Hampshire. He was the loving grandson of Paul Howard of Medford and Rita Doyle of Lynn. He is further survived by his uncle, Joseph Howard of Medford, aunt, Julie Howard of Medford and cousins, Janelle and Justin Howard both of Medford.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Friday, September 28th, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held on Thursday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in William's memory to the Somerville Boxing Club, 11 Otis St. Somerville, MA 02145.
