Laurie Suzanne “Sue” Futch, age 62, of Broxton, GA passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Shady Acres Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Futch was born on February 22, 1950, in Douglas, GA to Venita Joan Paulk Milhollin and the late Henry Roberts Milhollin.
Survivors include: her husband, John L. Futch III, of Broxton, GA, two daughters, Rebecca Suzanne Futch, of Atlanta, GA and Mary Elizbeth (David) Houtz, of Goldsboro, NC, one son, John Henry Harrison Futch, of Douglas, GA, mother, Venita Milhollin, of Broxton, GA, two sisters, Kathy M. Bennett, of Douglas, GA and Lynn Leonard, of Jacksonville, FL, one brother, Henry Ralph Milhollin, of Ambrose, GA, and two grandchildren, Ethan Futch, of Atlanta, GA and Logan Houtz, of Goldsboro, NC. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Milhollin, and brother, George Milhollin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 24 from 6-9 pm.
Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at City of Douglas Cemetery with Rev. John Homer and Rev. Elick Bullington officiating.
