Richard Sisler Eubanks, age 63, died Friday, September 21, 2012. Born in Greenville, MS, to the late Lee Sisler and Shelly Jessie Mae Craven Eubanks, he became a longtime resident of Yalobusha county and worked at Borg Warner many years before retiring from Winchester Corporation. He served in the Army National Guard of MS where he earned honors for marksmanship and was a senior carpenter. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a mechanic with a passion for old cars. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, trail riding, hunting and fixing things. He was a member of First Christian Church of Water Valley, MS.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, September 24, 2012 from 5 until 7 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Graveside services are planned for 1 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Pisgah Cemetery in Yalobusha County with Bro. David Roberson officiating. His brothers and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Michelle (Caleb) Horton of Coffeeville, MS; two sons, Edward S. (Diana) Eubanks and William Chad Eubanks, both of Coffeeville, MS; two sisters, Julie Horn and Linda Nunnally, both of El Dorado, AR; five brothers, Lee Eubanks, Ronald Eubanks, Neal Eubanks, David "Pete" Eubanks, and Jimmy Eubanks, all of Water Valley; and two grandchildren, Katelyn and Madison Eubanks of Coffeeville, MS.
