Charles R. Johnson, 77, of Clarksville, TN, died on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on November 13, 1934 in Elsberry, Missouri to the late Charles P. Johnson and Augusta Marie Corbin Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Interment will be held at a later date in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY.
Charles was a Retired U.S. Army Veteran having served 22 years in the Army. He was also a retired employee of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System Transportation Department. He was a member of Senior Citizens, enjoyed bowling, and loved his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his lovely wife of 43 years, Linda Johnson of Clarksville, TN; son, Michael C. Johnson (Stacy) of Whitehouse, TN; two grandchildren, Lauren and Zane Johnson.
