In Stoughton, September 21, 2012 Edythe (Ellison) Grenier, age 87 passed away at the Blue Hills Alzheimer’s Care Center following a lengthy illness. Edythe is survived by her husband Joseph Grenier of Taunton. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Edwin & Alexa (Scott) Ellison. Edythe has resided in Norton the past twenty years and was formerly of Taunton. She was employed as a seamstress for Taunton State Hospital. Edythe enjoyed making clothing for her family, she also enjoyed reading and traveling to Nova Scotia. Edythe is survived by her loving children Joseph Grenier and his wife Joanne of Taunton and Hilda Brennan of Taunton. Her grandchildren Michael Brennan of Taunton, Kara Soares of West Bridgewater and Ryan Grenier of Taunton and her three great grandchildren. Edythe was also preceded in death by her three siblings. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton, MA. Visiting hours are omitted and funeral services are private at the request of the family.
