HUDD, John F. a resident of Winthrop since 1958, on September 20, 2012, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 65 years to Eleanor L. (Gahm) Hudd. Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late John F. Sr. and Catherine (Ryan) Hudd. Devoted father of sons, Jack J. Hudd and his wife Joan of Melrose, Ron F. Hudd and his wife Jeanne of Lynnfield, Bob E. Hudd and his wife Roseanne of Winthrop, Michael T. Hudd and his wife Marianne of Malden, and Stephen C. Hudd and his wife Brenda of Wakefield. Dear brother of Mary V. Kangas of Medford. Adored grandfather of 12, his late grandson Brian S. Hudd of Winthrop, and also survived 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Monday, Sept 24 at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery-Everett. Visiting hours are Sun; only 4-8pm.
