CHARLES R. THOMPSON, 64, passed away on September 19, 2012.
He was a retired employee for Phillip Morris Tobacco Co., a member of Douglas Blvd. Christian Church, and a member of the International Order of Kings Daughters & Sons where he was the State Branch President and International Historian.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Lou Parker Thompson; his sister, Lou Kinser; nephews, David and Shawn Kinser; two great nieces; and his companion, Kirby L. Smith.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
