Salvatore Guardione age 55 of Canton passed away Tuesday September 18th at the Boston Medical Center after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Born in Springfield, MA to Ilda & Frank Guardione, he grew up in Agawam and attended Agawam High School, where he graduated as the Salutatorian in 1975. Sal then attended Boston College, where he met his wife and graduated Cum Laude in 1979. Sal has been a resident of Canton since 1984, raising 2 children who were the center of his life.
He was employed by McDonald's Corp as an assistant manager and later as a manager for an independent store owner for whom he ran the two West Roxbury stores. After Leaving McDonald's he worked for Prudential Life and Buckler, Irwin & Graf and finally for CNA where he worked as a Worker's Compensation Claims Adjuster for many years. Sal will be remembered by his many friends and family as a guy with a quirky sense of humor and his constant practical jokes. He loved life and his family and was a friend to everyone he met.

Grandfather of Adrianna F. & Salvatore W. of W. Bridgewater. Brother of Carmelina Higa of AZ. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday morning at 10 am. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm.
