Koruni, Anesti of Quincy, passed away September 18, 2012 after a battle with Alzheimer's and Cancer. Beloved husband of Klementina (Stefanllari) Koruni of Quincy. Devoted father of Ilva Koruni and her husband Tomi Xhillari of Dorchester and Kostika Koruni and his wife Anxhela of Quincy. Loving son of Viktori Koruni of Albania and the late Ilo Koruni. Brother of Sotiraq Koruni of Albania and Vangjeli Dhembi of Dorchester.
Anesti was born and educated in Korce, Albania. In Albania Mr. Koruni worked as a Forestry Engineer before coming to the United States with his family in 1996. Anesti worked as a Security Guard for Alpha Omega Jewelers in Boston for 4 years. Anesti was a true family man in every sense of the word, instilling discipline and the importance of family structure and faith. He was a very caring man who was always there for and helping others. He enjoyed painting and spending time with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. George Cathedral, 523 E. Broadway, South Boston, MA 02127. Friday at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
