Walter E. Kuzdeba, 83, of Cumberland, died Wednesday at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Cumberland, he was a son of the late Paul and Rose (Chubay) Kuzdeba. He remained a lifelong resident of Cumberland.
Mr. Kuzdeba served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was employed as a custodian by the Cumberland School Department before retiring in 1992.
He was the brother in law of Walter Bodnar and Stacia Kuzdeba both of Cumberland and is survived by his nieces and nephews and their families. He was the brother of the late Frank, Joseph, and Stanley Kuzdeba and Sophie Bodnar.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10:00 am in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Farm St. in Blackstone. At Walter’s request visiting hours and flowers are omitted. Arrangements are by the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 71 Central St., Manville.
