Hampton, NH- Albert E. Vaugh, 83, of Hampton, formerly of Worcester, died Saturday, May 29, in Haven Health Center, Hampton.
He leaves his wife of 57 years, Geraldine A. (Murphy) Vaugh; a daughter, Sandra A. Palumbo and her husband Pasquale of Dudley, MA; two granddaughters, Erica A. Benway and her husband Dean of Charlton, MA and Joy F. Durand and her husband Daniel of Putnam, CT; a great grandson, Harrison Robert Durand of Putnam, CT. He was born in Worcester, son of William and Lillian (Giles) Vaugh and lived there for many years moving to New Hampshire 30 years ago. He graduated from Classical High School.
Mr. Vaugh was a general manager at J.P. Chemical Co. in Amherst, NH, for many years retiring in 1982. After retiring, he worked at Ace Hardware in Seabrook, NH.
He was a World War II veteran, serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the South Pacific.
He was a member of the Exeter (NH) Golf Club.
Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester, is directing arrangements.
