Emma Elizabeth "Libby" Holton Forsyth, age 69, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012. at home following an extended illness.
Mrs.Forsyth was born on February 24, 1943, in Wrens, GA to the late Ralph Thurman Holton and Mary Wilkerson Holton.
Survivors include: her husband, Mike Forsyth, of Douglas, GA, a stepson, Michael A Forsyth, of Cummings, GA, a stepdaughter, Michelle Forsyth, of Atlanta, GA. one brother, Clark Holton, of Douglas, GA, two grandchildren, one special nephew, Jeramy Holton, and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, Sept.16, 2012 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral Service were held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:oo AM at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Benji Varnell and Rev. Sam Vernon officiating. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery. Music was furnished for the service by Brad Riner and Tania Myers "Precious Memories" and "Amazing Grace". Active
Pallbearers were: Jim Wilkerson, Joe Day, Hayward Holton, Clayton Mathis, Frank Littleton, and Chris Calhoun.
