Connie E. Wilcox, 59, of the Lands Crossing community in Irwin County, died Saturday, September 15, 2012, at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, September 18, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Danny Gay officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Monday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Wilcox was born July 1, 1953 in Turner County to the late Robert Clark and Dorothy Elizabeth Nelson Clower. She attended school in Turner County. She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband: Greg Wilcox of the Lands Crossing community in Irwin County; children: Michael Taylor of Fitzgerald, Mindy Lynn Wilcox & Jermainee Mack of Ocilla, Stephanie & Tim Frazier of Fitzgerald; 9 grandchildren; sisters: Dorothy Kennedy, Evelyn Roberts, and Rhonda & Tony Self, all of Ashburn, and Ann & Larry Rathburn of Fitzgerald; and a brother: Bob & Mary Clower of Fitzgerald.
