Obituary

Lewis Everett Hulett, 74, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, September 12, 2012, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, September 16, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Evangelist Teressa McDuffie officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The family will receive from 7-9 Saturday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.

Mr. Hulett was born December 24, 1937, in Fitzgerald to the late Roy and Blanche Webb Hulett. He was retired Tech Sergeant with over 20 years service in the United States Air Force. With the exception of his military career, he had lived in the community all of his life. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by four sons: Lewis E. & Phoebe Hulett, Jr. of Skipperville, AL, and Robert E. & Raelinda Hulett of Belcourt, ND and Paul Hulett of Fitzgerald and Jocko and Melissa Frank of Belcourt, ND; two daughters: Patricia McCoy of Fitzgerald and Elise Hulett of Belcourt, ND; two brothers: Lewis Edward Hulett of Leavenworth, KS and Clifton Hulett of Griffith, IN; four sisters: Myrtice & Homer Dowden and Joyce & Dwayne Enos all of Jacksonville, FL, Evelyn Giles of Mesquite, TX, and Dorothy & Fred Brown of Irwin County; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children; and special friend: Debbie “DR” Roberts of Fitzgerald. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Ralph Hulett, James Hulett and Ira Hulett.
