Gladolia M. "Gladie" (Taylor) Whitson, 85, of Anderson died September 11, 2012 at Manor Care following an extended illness.
She was born August 28, 1927 in Adolphus, Kentucky to Asbury and Birdie (Boren) Taylor.
She worked for Dunkin Donuts and Frisch's Big Boy for 33 years.
She is survived by her 3 children: Sandy (Todd) Griffin of Anderson; Kathy (Rob) Morgan of Columbus, OH; Steve (Sharon) Whitson of California; 5 grandchildren Vanessa (Troy) Peters of Anderson; Christopher Jayne of Columbus, OH; Kimberly Jayne of Columbus, OH; Shawn Whitson and Carrie Whitson of California; 2 great grandchildren Kameron and Kyleigh Leslie and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters Alma Dillihay and Estelle Waymire.
Services will be on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Jim Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
The visitation will be Monday 1 hour prior to the service the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
