Obituary

Joseph D. Incardone, 85 of Medford died Friday after a brief illness in the Life Care Center of Stoneham.

Born in Boston, he lived in Medford for the past 47 years and formerly of the North End of Boston and was the son of the late John and Josephine (Nocero) Incardone.

Joseph was an Electrician for the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Boston since 1950 and retired in 1981. He was a late U.S. Army veteran during WW II and served with Company A 872nd Airborne Engineer in New Guinea and South Philippines. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with Bronze Service Star, American Theater Campaign Ribbon and the Victory Medal.

Beloved husband of Carmela (Sarno). Brother of the late Mary Troisi, Salvatore and Julio Incardone. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10:30 AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours Tuesday 5 thru 8.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
