WORCESTER-Patricia E. (Moynihan) LeGacy, 58, of 48 Sorrento Street died Wednesday, May 26th in St. Vincent Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. She leaves her devoted husband of 29 years George W. LeGacy and her loving daughter Michelle A. LeGacy of Dudley.
She was born in Salem the daughter of Paul and Alva (Broman) Moynihan and lived in Worcester most of her life. Mrs. LeGacy was a graduate of North High School and had been employed by the Worcester Registry of Deeds and UMass Medical School. She was an avid softball fan and was involved with the Jesse Burkett Little League as a coach, past-president and member of its board. Mrs. LeGacy enjoyed working in her yard, watching softball, especially her daughter’s games.
The funeral is Wednesday, June 2nd with a service at 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, June 1st from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
