William Royster Traylor, 86, Cunningham, TN died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
He was born August 27, 1926 in Cheatham County son of the late William Joe Traylor and Mae Nicholson Traylor. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ada Comperry Traylor.
Survivors include four sons, Joe Traylor (Brenda), Burton Traylor, Robert Traylor (Vickie) and William Traylor; four daughters, Wanda Davis, Patricia Shane (Scott), Hazel Wilbanks (Jerry), and Melinda Mills (Steve); brother, Joe M. Traylor; three sisters, Lula Phillips, Frankie Mays, and Willie Mae Zuercher; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; and his companion of twenty two years, Marie Ivey. He also leaves behind Prissy, his loving puppy that stood by his side and in his heart.
The memorial services will be held on Friday at 3 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the hour of the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Neal-Tarpley-Parchman to assist with funeral expenses.
